Sup guys, I dropped GW about a year to a year and a half ago out of boredom. I've decided to come back and finish off the rest of my KoaBD ranks as I was about 2/3 of the way there when I quit. I'm doing this in preparation for GW2 but also because I'm pretty bored with most of the other games I play. I sorta lost my old GWG log-in info, and I don't feel like submitting an admin request, so I'll be starting fresh here I guess. Looks like my auctions rep is lost forever. ;(

I'm posting here because I was wondering if anybody could give me a quick rundown of the changes that have happened between then and now. I'm talking build trends in PvP, any major skill changes, market fluctuations, and new builds that are making a big impact in PvE. When I quit about a year ago, SF SCs had just been nerfed, though it was still possible with EoC to get perma-SF up. It was about the same time Discordway was having the kinks worked out of it as well.

Also, does anyone know if Scions of Carver [SCAR] is still around? I remember my 11 minute Frog runs and 18 minute SoO scythe SCs with them, and as of log-in it seems I was booted over a year ago (for obvious reasons) so I'm looking for a guild again. I'm mostly looking for a guild that does a lot of VQing and Mallyx/UW runs.

Welcome back man. I'd toss you an invite to my guild but we just get together to do things on Fridays so we may not be what you are looking for. Count to think of it we still need to beat DoA.

Find the page for the latest skill balance on the official wiki here and search backwards through the months.

Make sure you look at what was added during the 4th Birthday Celebration.

There were too many changes to list. You can read the wiki update pages or just play like you were new to the game. You can check out the guru Guild Connections section for a guild.
